Victoria Plus is the University’s service and leadership development programme. Register here. Give back to your community and gain skills that will impress employers.  This free, extra-curricular programme has three components and can be completed at an introductory Certificate level and full Award level and your achievement is noted on your academic transcript. You get involved in activities, attend skills workshops and produce a reflective ePortfolio. You can participate in a range of experiences, many in a voluntary capacity, which provide leadership opportunities and support others. The activities which count towards Victoria Plus are varied and challenging, such as student mentoring and academic learning support; working as a class rep; assisting new students at orientation or helping in a Wellington community service. Check out the requirements on www.victoria.ac.nz/victoriaplus.
